Advanced Methods To Embed Your YouTube Videos

Are you using YouTube to post your online video content to your blog or website? Did you know there is a new embeddable player with a ‘Watch Later' feature'?

In a recent article about business blogging, I posted a video tutorial which I had uploaded to YouTube using the new player and yoiu can see the ‘Watch later' in the top right of the video so that if someone is logged into YouTube they can bookmark the video to view later.

You can see the watch now videos on your home page on YouTube 9though now with the new home page).

You may not be aware - and I am not sure many people use the feature - but you can right click on a YouTube video and in the new player you can see new options to:

- copy video URL

- copy video URL at current time

- and "show video info.

And the other helpful feature is that when you click the video when playing it does not open up YouTube - people will stay on your web page or blog page and it pauses your video - you can of course still video the video on YouTube by clicking the small YouTube logo in the bottom of right of the embedded video.

How To Add The New YouTube Embed Code

It is simple to add the new code - just take the embed code from your video and add the following the the URL:

&version=3
